Crud Cruiser

What: Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailers travel to neighborhoods to collect household hazardous waste. Proof of residency (current water bill, valid driver’s license) and a voucher if required by your city are necessary. What: Join the City of Denton in their efforts to keep waterways free of litter. Preregistration ends Oct. 8, but on-site registration will be available the day of the event from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Following the cleanup, volunteers will be treated to a well-deserved lunch. This event is free and open to the public. What: The Community Tree Giveaway is KDB’s longest-running tree distribution program, held each fall to celebrate national Make a Difference Day. The program is open only to Denton residents, and participants must register in advance to receive a free 3-gallon size tree.
